LRHS Student Council Brings Homecoming Excitement to Campus and Community

LRHS Student Council is adding something new to Homecoming festivities this year—a parade on Friday, October 3, at 12:30 p.m. The parade will wind around the middle school and high school campuses, and parents and community members are invited to watch from the designated viewing area in the Wildcat Stadium parking lot. If you plan to attend, please be parked by 12:30 p.m. and remain in the viewing area for safety and security.
As part of the day’s celebrations, LRHS Student Council will lead pep assemblies at all three elementary schools, bringing Homecoming excitement to our youngest Wildcats. They’ll be joined by senior Homecoming candidates, along with members of the band, Pomcats, and cheer team, to highlight and represent the many sports and activities offered at LRHS.
Homecoming festivities continue in the evening with tailgating opportunities starting at 4:30 p.m., the Homecoming Coronation at 6:30 p.m., and the football game versus Hillcrest kicking off at 7:00 p.m. During halftime, enjoy performances by the LR Marching Band and the Pomcats.
It’s a full day of Wildcat pride, fun, and community spirit for all ages!
