6^th & 7^th Grade Science Teacher

Tell us about your family:
I grew up in Clever, MO and I have one younger sister named Brandi. I care for four (4!!!) pets. My two cats, Cassie and Loki, stay at home but my gecko, Littlefoot and my axolotl, Sharkbait, are at school! 

What makes you passionate about education?
I believe knowledge is power. Education is important to me because it is something nobody can take away from you. Everyone deserves access to a quality education! 

What is your must-have classroom item?
I have to have soft, alternative lighting ALWAYS!

If you had to choose a different grade/subject to teach, what would it be?
Although I do not teach Math anymore, I do love it and would love to teach it again some day!

What is something about you that might surprise people?
I am very artistic and crafty! 

What is one item on your bucket list?
I love to travel and want to see as many places as I can. One specific goal is to visit every National Park in the US!
