English Language Learner Teacher (K-5) 

Tell us about your family:
I love our family! My husband and I celebrated 33 years of marriage this year. We couldn't ask for a better daughter, son, and daughter in law. Plus, two sweet granddaughters. We have a lot to be thankful for.

How long have you been a teacher/worked in education?
I have been a teacher for 28 years and have worked in education for 31 years.

What makes you passionate about education?
I love seeing students grow academically, socially and so comfortable that they enjoy learning!

What is your must-have classroom item?
My giant pencil which really works and is the size of a large pizza.

If you had to choose a different grade/subject to teach, what would it be?
I love world history.

What is something about you that might surprise people?
I have lived in 4 countries and have been to 21.

What is one item on your bucket list?
To have a classroom in a tree house (I might be waiting a long time for this one)!
