For Mac OS users, there is a system setting that may not allow you to tab onto several types of elements in a web page. To change this setting:
It's Wildcat Wednesday! Every Wednesday, we will spotlight a member of the LR Wildcat family.
This week we are introducing you to Jodi Beck!
Payroll and Accountability
Tell us about your family (human and/or fur family):
I have been married to my husband, Darren, for 10 years. We have two children; Mason who's 6 and Ava who's 4. Mason is in kindergarten and proud to be an LR Wildcat! We also have a very ornery lab puppy who is lucky to be so cute.
How long have you worked for LR?
Just over 7 months
What is your favorite thing about working for LR?
I really enjoy the tight-knit, family feel that the LR district has. I love getting the chance to meet and get to know so many great people from our community and feel more connected to the Rogersville area.
What is your favorite quote?
Listen earnestly to anything your children want to tell you, no matter what. If you don't listen eagerly to the little stuff when they are little, they won't tell you the big stuff when they are big, because to them all of it has always been big stuff. -
Catherine M. Wallace
What's the weirdest job you've ever had?
I worked the late night shift at IHOP during a summer in high school. It was an equal combination of weird and entertaining, but I learned a lot of valuable lessons from that experience.
If you could learn to do anything, what would it be?
I would love to know how to play an instrument or have a musical talent of any kind.
What do you like to do when you're not at school?
My family loves to spend time outdoors. We spend as much time as possible on local lakes or floating on Current River in the summer.
Thank you for being a Wildcat, Jodi! We are so glad you decided to join our team!
