A MESSAGE FROM DR. RANDLES
We are honored that you send your most precious gift to LR each day. Every child deserves an education that is engaging, challenging, caring, and provides opportunities for them to grow as members of our society. In the Logan-Rogersville school district, we take great pride in our Mission to provide all students with the skills and knowledge necessary for successful participation in our changing society.
We believe all people have worth and the right to be treated with dignity and respect. We believe all students will have the opportunity to learn to the extent of their abilities. We believe the family is critical to the success of the learning process. That the quality of learning directly affects the quality of life and any compromise in a commitment to excellence in education is unacceptable.
These are basic beliefs that we can all agree to, but are we missing something? Educating the whole child is of the utmost importance to the parents and educators of our district. That is why at LR you will find teachers who nurture, care for, and raise students as if they were our very own. We want to ensure that we are doing everything possible to provide the very best education to our students. Therefore, if you would be willing to serve or you have a suggestion, please contact the District Administrative Office to see how you can become connected.
We want our own children to be our compass and guide our work as educators. I have one LR graduate and one halfway through LR. We are proud to call LR home #WeAreLR.
Thank you for choosing to raise your child in the Logan-Rogersville R-VIII School District. It is the best compliment we can receive.
