It's Wildcat Wednesday! On Wednesdays, we spotlight a member of the LR Wildcat family.
This week we are introducing you to Emily Napoli!
Tell us about your family (human and/or fur family):
I have my mom and step-dad. I have two step-siblings, a brother and sister! Also, I have my dad, two brothers, and one sister! I love them all so much and they have all shown me so much support.
How long have you been a teacher/worked in education?
This is my first year of teaching!
How long have you worked for LR?
Technically this is my first year working for LR but I did a year long student teaching internship in Kindergarten last year!
What makes you passionate about education?
I think there is no more important job than to be the one to teach the next generation. Children are so special and I love getting to be a small part in helping develop them into the extraordinary people they will become.
What is your must-have classroom item?
A secret stash of candy! :)
If you had to choose a different grade/subject to teach, what would it be?
I think teaching 3rd grade would be really interesting but I looove Kindergarten! I do want to pursue a masters in counseling and become a school counselor.
What is something about you that might surprise people?
I used to be a competitive figure skater!
What is one item on your bucket list?
To travel all of Europe. I have been to 3 countries so far and I am planning on continuing to check more off of my list.
Thanks for being part of our team, Emily!
