2024-25 School Year Annual Performance Report Announcement

The Missouri Department of Elementary and Secondary Education (DESE) released the latest scores for school districts across the state in what is called the Annual Performance Report (APR). This letter aims to explain the results and their implications for the Logan-Rogersville School District.
What is the APR?
Missouri’s DESE has an accountability model for school districts called the Missouri School Improvement Program (MSIP). To score districts on their performance and improvement, DESE uses an APR. The 2025 APR is based on the most recent MSIP standards, which is now in its sixth version.
How did LR score?
This is the fourth year for scoring schools based on alignment with the standards in MSIP 6. The target for districts is to earn at least 70% of the points possible. Our district earned a score of 89.5% (175.5 out of 196 possible points). This improves our 3-year composite score to 88.2%.
Below, we’d like to share some celebrations and opportunities for improvement we’ve drawn out
of our APR score.

- Academic Achievement in English Language Arts, Math, Social Studies, and Science
- Advanced Credit Options for Students
- District Continuous Improvement Efforts
