Elementary School Administrative Assistant 

Tell us about your family:
I have been married to my husband for 12 years. We both grew up and graduated from Logan-Rogersville. We have 3 kiddos, Sadie 7, Reid 4, and Ryleigh 3. We have 2 dogs named Nellie and Luna and a kitten named Evee. 

How long have you worked for LR?
This is my first year working in the school district. 

What is your favorite thing about working for LR? 
Getting to see the kids every day and being part of a community that truly cares about them. I love being able to help students and families feel welcomed, supported, and at home at our school. 

What is something about you that might surprise people?
I'm a total geek at heart! I love all things Lord of the Rings, Start Wars, Harry Potter, and anything that lets me escape into a magical or adventurous world. 

What is your favorite quote?
"Happiness can be found, even in the darkest of times, if one only remembers to turn on the light." - Albus Dumbledore 

What’s the weirdest job you’ve ever had?
I worked at an egg factory. I saw millions of eggs come through daily and walked through a chicken barn with thousands of chickens all around me.  

What would you do (for a career) if you weren’t doing this?
I would have been a teacher. 3rd grade is my jam! 

If you could learn to do anything, what would it be?
Learn interior/design skills and be able to completely transform spaces myself. 

What do you like to do when you're not at school?
I love being with my family going on camping trips in our camper.
