It's Wildcat Wednesday! On Wednesdays, we spotlight a member of the LR Wildcat family.

Job Title:
Occupational Therapist
Tell us about your family:
My husband, Jon, teaches 6th grade math at the Upper Elementary and coaches Middle School boys basketball. We have 2 grownish sons. Ethan is getting his PhD at University of Michigan and Zachary is at University of Buffalo in New York. We are very attached to our 2 dogs, Vinny and Winston.
How long have you worked for LR?
This is my 20th year at Logan Rogersville.
What is your favorite thing about working for LR?
I love the famiy feel throughout the district!
What is something about you that might surprise people?
I was a gymnast in college. My family hosted exchange students each year I was in high school and all of them came back for our wedding!
What is your favorite quote?
"You is kind. You is smart. You is important."
What’s the weirdest job you’ve ever had?
Fitness demonstrations at a mall in St. Louis. It was so embarassing, but helped pay for our honeymoon when we had no money!
What would you do (for a career) if you weren’t doing this?
If I weren’t doing this, I would probably be in social work or geriatric care.
If you could learn to do anything, what would it be?
I wish I had the patience to knit or crochet.
What do you like to do when you're not at school?
When I’m not at school, I like to hike, swim, do yoga, read and hang out with my family.

Kim, we’re so glad to have you as part of the Wildcat family!
