Beth Hagood - 3/11/26

It's Wildcat Wednesday! On Wednesdays, we spotlight a member of the LR Wildcat family.
This week we are introducing you to Beth Hagood!
-----------------------------
Job Title:
Primary School Nurse
Tell us about your family:
We just moved to Rogersville last June. My daughter, Jaylee, is almost 14 and in 8th grade. She enjoys running, doing hair and nails, and being outside. Jackson is 12 and in the 6th grade. He loves collecting sports cards, hunting, fishing, and most things outdoors. The community here is outstanding and we are enjoying the area.
How long have you worked for LR?
This is my first year at LR. I worked for Mercy for 22 years prior.
What is your favorite thing about working for LR?
I love working at the Primary with all the little ones. I have never worked anywhere that I get this many hugs every single day. All of the staff and teachers have been so welcoming and kind since day one. I have truly been impressed with the district as a whole, and how they care for the kids and community.
What is something about you that might surprise people?
I haven't used dryer sheets in over a decade! I love to roller skate and play all sports.
What is your favorite quote?
People may not remember what you said to them or what you did for them, but they will always remember how you made them feel.
If you could learn to do anything, what would it be?
Play the guitar.
What do you like to do when you're not at school?
I enjoy spending time with my kids and finding interest in their interest. I also enjoy hiking, kyaking, mushroom hunting, fishing, gardening, baking, and concerts.

Beth, thanks for being a part of the Wildcat family!
