My husband Chett and I have two boys Noah and Toby and a golden retriever named Lucy. 

How long have you been a teacher/worked in education?
18 years

What makes you passionate about education?
For a brief moment, I have the opportunity to positively impact a child's life. I love the art of teaching and learning. 

What is your must-have classroom item?
I love a great pen and some post it notes. 

If you had to choose a different grade/subject to teach, what would it be?
I would teach history. I'm absolutely fascinated by the stories. 

What is something about you that might surprise people?
I read cookbooks for fun! I love to try new recipes. 

What is one item on your bucket list?
I would love to go snorkeling.
