Second Grade Teacher
Tell us about your family:
My husband, Kris, and I have been married for six years! We have an 8 month old son named Arthur and a golden retriever named Sunny.
How long have you been a teacher/worked in education?
This is my 8th year teaching! I spent 4 years teaching 3rd grade in Springfield before coming to LR.
What makes you passionate about education?
I love teaching because every day is different. I love that I get to help kids grow, learn, and believe in themselves. Second grade is such a fun place to be!
What is your must-have classroom item?
All the colored cardstock and Crayola dry erase markers.
If you had to choose a different grade/subject to teach, what would it be?
I would teach 3rd grade or reading intervention.
What is something about you that might surprise people?
I was born in Iowa and moved to Missouri when I was in third grade!
What is one item on your bucket list?
I would love to go on an African safari one day!
