I’m married to Michael Johnson, with a blended family of six adult kids, our 14-year-old son Collin, and our Goldendoodle, Lucca.
How long have you been a teacher/worked in education?
15 Years
What makes you passionate about education?
What I love most about teaching is mentoring students as they prepare for adulthood, watching them achieve their goals, and building meaningful relationships along the way.
What is your must-have classroom item?
My must-have classroom items are a calendar and a to-do list to stay organized.
If you had to choose a different grade/subject to teach, what would it be?
Library Media Specialist
What is something about you that might surprise people?
I have a huge collection of board games, and I am motivated by fun.
What is one item on your bucket list?
One item on my bucket list is to perform stand-up comedy at an open mic night.
