Tammy Bach - 11/5/25

It's Wildcat Wednesday! On Wednesdays, we spotlight a member of the LR Wildcat family.
This week we are introducing you to Tammy Bach!
-----------------------------
Job Title:
Daycare Aide
Tell us about your family:
My husband, Aaron, and I have been married for 35 years. We have two children, Kendra, who is 32 and a son, Ben that is 29, both are married and graduated from LR. We are very busy with our own small company and all of our fur babies, but enjoy the weekends to catch up with each other.
How long have you worked for LR?
I am starting my 16th year with LR.
What is your favorite thing about working for LR?
My favorite thing about working for LR is that I get to make a positive difference in the lives of not just my students, but also my parents. Working for the LR daycare preschool allows me to get to know a lot of staff members and watch my previous kids grow throughout the years ahead of them. I always strive to make the daycare/preschool a great experience and make my students attitude towards their first adventure in school a very fun and memorable time.
What is something about you that might surprise people?
I enjoy cutting wood with my own chainsaw during the late fall. 😉
What is your favorite quote?
A positive experience can lead to many years of positive thinking.
What’s the weirdest job you’ve ever had?
Teaching an aerobics class when I was in my 30s to women in there 60s or older.
What would you do (for a career) if you weren’t doing this?
At my age, the only thing that I could possibly think of, would be helping the elderly with yardwork or cleaning.
If you could learn to do anything, what would it be?
I would love to learn to play or be better at Pickle ball.
What do you like to do when you're not at school?
Spending time with my husband, kids and their spouses. I also love to work out and be outside.

Thanks for being a part of the Wildcat family, Tammy!
