Tell us about your family:
I have been married for 28 years to Amy who is a professor of English education at Missouri State. We have two children, Lizzie is 20 and Nate is 14. Lizzie graduated from Rogersville in 2020 and Nate is currently a freshman at Rogersville.

How long have you been a teacher/worked in education?
25 years

What makes you passionate about education?
I love the positive relationships and watching kids progress.

What is your must-have classroom item?
Fresh air and sunshine. I love to open the shop door on nice days.

If you had to choose a different grade/subject to teach, what would it be?
High School History

What is something about you that might surprise people?
I have taught math, history, PE, Wood Shop and even a reading class. I have coached football, wrestling, track, tennis and even basketball.

What is one item on your bucket list?
Live on the water!
