***Please register by May 31^st in order to ensure adequate staffing and student placement.***

Class placements will be sent via email to parents/guardians on Friday, June 2^nd

ABOUT SUMMER SCHOOL

WHEN

• Session 1: June 5^th – 22^nd                               
  • 8:00 am – 2:30 pm 
  • Monday – Thursday
• Session 2: July 5^th – 20^th  
  • 8:00 am – 2:30 pm 
  • Monday – Thursday
     

WHERE

• Both sessions will be held at Logan-Rogersville Upper Elementary School.

WHO CAN ATTEND?

• Any student entering kindergarten through 6th grade.
• Logan-Rogersville students, students in other districts, homeschool students, private school students...ANYONE can come to Summer School at LR! 
   

WHY ATTEND SUMMER SCHOOL?

• Summer School is focused on improving math and reading skills.
• A great opportunity to extend learning over the summer.
• Kindergartners can become familiar and comfortable with school.
• A wonderful enrichment opportunity for all ages.
• Taught by experienced LR Primary, Elementary, and Upper Elementary teachers.
• Weekly Special Classes (example: Music, Art and/or PE)
• Elementary Library & Book Mobile routes scheduled each week 
• Free breakfast and lunch provided to all students daily.
• Before school and After school care available for families during the summer school session.

SUMMER SCHOOL BEFORE & AFTER SCHOOL CATCARE

• Before School CatCare starts at 7:00 am and costs $2 per child per day.
• After School CatCare runs until 6:00 pm and costs $6 per child per day. (Only $3 charge if picked up by 4:15 pm) ​
• Registration is required if your child was not registered for CatCare during the 2022-23 school year. 

Please note: Classes are scheduled to run Monday through Thursday with no school on Friday.  

 *Special transportation will be provided for students eligible for extended school year services.
