Brenna Hill - 11/12/25

It's Wildcat Wednesday! Every Wednesday, we will spotlight a member of the LR Wildcat family.
This week we are introducing you to Brenna Hill!
-----------------------------
Job Title:
Middle School Special Education Teacher
Tell us about your family:
I have been married to Mike for 27 years. Our daughter, Kennedy, is 22 and attends an adult day program for individuals with disabilities. Our son, Carter, is in his second year of college. We have an English bulldog named Ace, a basset hound named Rosie, a ball python named Spots, and some chickens.
How long have you been a teacher/worked in education?
This is my 25th year in education (all of those years have been at LR).
What makes you passionate about education?
Nothing makes me happier than when I see a student overcome a challenge. I love being present for those "lightbulb" moments when they understand a concept they'd previously been struggling with.
What is your must-have classroom item?
Compassion (and colorful pens)
If you had to choose a different grade/subject to teach, what would it be?
I can't imagine not teaching special education, but it would probably be ELA. I've been fortunate to co-teach in English classes before and I really enjoyed it.
What is something about you that might surprise people?
I am absolutely terrified of mice, but snakes don't bother me. When our son was younger and asked for a pet snake, I didn't hesitate to say yes.
What is one item on your bucket list?
To attend a Packers game at Lambeau Field.

Brenna, thanks for being such an amazing part of the Wildcat family!
