Tell us about your family:
I live with my significant other in Springfield with our 3 dogs Kiki, Franklin, and Boo. My parents live in Clinton, MO and I have 2 sisters, Megan and Ellie.
How long have you been a teacher/worked in education?
I began my teaching career 4 years ago.
What makes you passionate about education?
I love watching each child and the class as a whole develop over the school year! It’s so special to look back at the beginning of the year to see how much they’ve grown and learned in such a short period of time.
What is your must-have classroom item?
My must-have classroom item are sticky notes.
If you had to choose a different grade/subject to teach, what would it be?
If I had to choose a different grade to teach, I would teach 2nd grade or be a librarian.
What is something about you that might surprise people?
I collect Fiestaware dishes and have been growing my collection since I was 16.
What is one item on your bucket list?
I would love to go on a Grand Canyon white water rafting tour!
