Tell us about your family:
My daughter, Natalie, is married and has 3 kids. My son, Seth, is at the University of Arkansas.

How long have you been a teacher/worked in education?
I have been a band director 37 years, and the last 8 have been at LR.

What makes you passionate about education?
I am passionate about helping people.

What is your must-have classroom item?
Kids, instruments and music.

If you had to choose a different grade/subject to teach, what would it be?
I would probably be a coach (I am a bit competitive :)

What is something about you that might surprise people?
I am shy, but on the podium I turn into a monster.

What is one item on your bucket list?
Continue to help others, become a good golfer again, and travel.
