Mark and I have been married for 34 years, have two darling daughters, two amazing sons-in-law, and two wonderful, perfect grandchildren.

How long have you been a teacher/worked in education?
25 years

What makes you passionate about education?
I have always loved that 'light bulb' moment - when a kid struggles with a concept or a skill to the point of frustration and then just gets it. The look that comes across his or her face is the absolute best.

What is your must-have classroom item?
Books and bandwidth!

If you had to choose a different grade/subject to teach, what would it be?
I've always thought that Coach Evans must have the best job.

What is something about you that might surprise people?
I've been a Wildcat, in one fashion or another, since 1975.

What is one item on your bucket list?
To attend a game in every MLB park.
