COXHEALTH TELEMEDICINE

The Logan-Rogersville R-VIII School District is collaborating with Cox Health Systems to provide telemedicine inside each campus.  The purpose of this program is to provide school-based medical visits through virtual services. A virtual clinic allows for you to be seen by doctor or nurse practitioner by way of the internet.  The school-based clinic is a CoxHealth clinic where you can be seen for minor illnesses including earaches, stomach viruses, head lice, minor rashes and blemishes, sinus infection, and pink eye. The cost of the clinic varies based on your insurance provider. In most cases, you can expect to pay your normal office co-pay at the time of the visit. If you have any further questions about the visits, please feel free to contact Tammy Fitzpatrick or your building nurse.

*For employees who have an HSA Plan, it may be more beneficial to pay using a prompt pay discount at the time of service ($59.00 plus $16.80 for lab work, if necessary).  If the visit is run through insurance the cost would be $119.00, plus cost of labs.*
