LR is thrilled to announce some exciting news that will bring a new chapter of opportunities and competition to the district! Beginning with the 2024-25 school year, LR will be participating in the newly formed Ozark Mountain Conference alongside Branson, Bolivar, Carl Junction, Marshfield, and West Plains.

We are appreciative to have been a member of the Big 8 since 2018. The Big 8 Conference has played a significant role in our school district's recent history, and we have experienced many memorable moments of competition.

Introducing the Ozark Mountain Conference: 

Uniting Schools for Excellence in Academics and Athletics

BRANSON, MO (October 11, 2023) - Six Ozark Mountain area high schools have formed a new conference. Beginning in the 2024-2025 school year, Branson, Bolivar, Carl Junction, Logan-Rogersville, Marshfield, and West Plains school districts will compete in the newly named Ozark Mountain Conference.

“The formation of the new Ozark Mountain Conference enables our districts to strengthen our activity and athletic programs while improving our student-athletes,” says Ozark Mountain Conference Superintendents.

The Ozark Mountain Conference brings together districts that are similar in enrollment numbers, as well as shared values and community beliefs. 

For the remainder of this school year, the six schools will work collaboratively in preparation for competing in the new Ozark Mountain Conference during the 2024-25 school year.
