December 3, 2020
Dear LR Families, Students and Staff,
As you may have seen, the CDC released new guidance on reducing the number of required quarantine days to 10 as opposed to the current 14 for those without symptoms (asymptomatic).
In addition, asymptomatic individuals in quarantine can "test out" with a negative test result beginning on day 5 after exposure. Although the test can be administered as early as the fifth day, the individual must remain in quarantine for 7 days. The test must be a PCR or an antigen test.
The Springfield-Greene County Health Department announced December 2, 2020 at 3:00 PM, they will be following these guidelines effective immediately. This means:
Thank you in advance for your patience as we update our protocols to reflect this new guidance. The Webster County Health Unit has not made a determination yet, which affects Webster County Residents. We anticipate a response early next week.
We look forward to seeing our students back in the classroom!
