New School Technology Project
(RFP has been awarded as of 11/11/08) CDWG received the bid for all
hardware less the smartboards. Smartboards
were purchased from EVS of Springfield, MO.

Technology Issue Procedure:
The following process is how work orders are filed and resolved.
1. Issue arises
2. The issue is reported, presumably by the faculty with
the issue, to the initial contact person.**
3. The issue is either fixed by the initial contact person
or reported to the technology staff via the Lumen Software
Help Desk Manager.
4. A tech is assigned to the issue.
5. The tech solves the issue or elevates it to another tech.
6. The issue is resolved.
7. An email is sent to the reporting person. If after the
email is received the problem is NOT resolved, the issue
should be reported as unresolved and reopened by the initial
contact person.
8. Unresolved issues will be revisited by a tech until they
are resolved, one way or another.

Any unresolved grievances should be presented to the Director of Technology
in writing. If the grievance is not settled, then further action should be
taken with the Assistant Superintendant.
