Math Functions

 

Course Rationale

Math Functions teaches skills that the student may not have mastered in his or her math career but are essential to move on to

Algebra I.  Emphasis is placed on mastering basic concepts that are necessary for success in everyday situations at school, at home, and in the workplace.

 

Course Description

The objectives and activities of this course are to gain skills basic to the fundamentals of mathematics including basic operations, averages, exponents, decimals and fractions.  Students will learn basic graphing and problem solving in real life situations.  Percents and proportions will also be addressed.

  5. Find the Least Common Multiple.

  14. Read and construct graphs.
