School Moneymakers
Several opportunities are available for our schools to earn extra money. Apple Market receipts, General Mills Box Tops for Education, Campbell’s Soup Label Barcodes, empty printer ink cartridges and old cell phones are all accepted at the Upper Elementary.
Please support these school moneymakers!

Transportation
Parents should call our office before 3:00 p.m. if a change in end-of-day transportation is needed for their child.
(2:00 p.m. on Early Release Fridays)
To ensure safety and consistency for your child please be sure they know their transportation plans before they come to school. If a change is required, 4th and 5th graders should bring a note to their teacher in the morning and all students need a note for a bus pass if they are riding home on a different bus.

Morning Drop Off Procedures
Please use the third entrance from Hwy 60 to drop off your 4th-6th grade students. They may walk down the sidewalk to either the 6th grade hall doors or the 2 sets of doors near the main office. Students may be dropped off between 8:15 a.m. and 8:35 a.m. The tardy bell rings at 8:35 a.m. Any student entering the building after this time is considered tardy, with the
exception of late bus students. Tardy students should sign in at the office before going to class.

Please utilize the Parent Portal to keep track of your child’s grades and lunch balances. Email questions to parentportal@logrog.net

Attendance Policies
When a student is going to be absent parents need to contact the school office at 753-2996 to verify the child’s absence.
At the end of the year we will have an attendance party for all students who have been in attendance every day of school. To achieve this award students must arrive on time each morning and stay until the bell rings at the end of the day. Students are to check in the office when arriving late or leaving early.
