College Preparatory Certficate State Guidelines

Academic Letter - Any student earning a 10.0 on the 11-point scale yearly will be awarded an academic letter an a lamp of knowledge pin for excellence in education. For any additional year at 10 pts or above, the student shall receive a bar to be added to the letter.

Academic Excellence Award - Any student attaining a 10 or above for seven semesters shall receive a plaque signifying a commitment to excellence. Students shall receive no grade below a B and no OSS suspensions will be allowed for this award.

Academic Hall of Fame - Any student achieving a 10.5 or above GPA over eight semesters and receiving a 28 or above composite score on the ACT, will have his/her name added to the LR Academic Hall of Fame. Names of awardees will be displaced in the hall.

The Prudential Spirit of Community Award is available to a student who has taken part in community service activities over the past year. If you are a big participant in community service activities you may be eligible for this award. See the counselor's office for more information.
