Dear Parent/Guardian:
In accordance with Missouri Law (RSMo 160.522), the 2007
Annual School District Report Card is now available for public
review. By December 1st of each school year, Missouri public
school districts must make available a school district accountability
report card for each attendance center in the district.
The 2007 Annual School Report Cards can be
accessed through the Missouri Department of Elementary
and Secondary Education
website at http://www.dese.mo.gov/. Highlight the link on
the left side of the screen labeled “School Statistics.” Once
you see the expanded menu, slide the mouse to select “School
Data & Statistics.” In the new screen with the
drop-down box, select “Logan-Rogersville R-VIII (039-139)” and
click “load profile.” Select the link in the
top right labeled “2007 School District Report Cards.”
Our district has once again been recognized
for “Distinction
in Performance.” We have previously received “Distinction
in Performance” awards in 2001, 2002, 2003, and 2005,
and earned “Distinction in Performance for High Achievement” in
2006. I want to commend and again offer my congratulations
to the faculty, staff, students, and parents for receiving
this most prestigious award in six of the last seven years.
