Four Fundamental Rules of Career Ladder:
1. All Career Ladder activities must be tied to academics through one or more of the following:
District School Improvement Plan
Curriculum
Professional Development
Missouri School Improvement Program
Areas of improvement agreed upon by participant and building principal


2. You cannot receive compensation of any kind for the activities you are counting in your career ladder plan. It is ok for the district to pay for your registration fee, etc, however, you personally cannot receive any compensation for your activities.

3. You cannot perform career ladder activities during contracted time, personal days, etc.

4. All Career Ladder activities must be aligned with your certification.
